German-speaking Customer Care Advisor – Patents Team

About the role

We are looking for a German-speaking Customer Care Advisor to join our Patent Annuities team in Belgrade. You will be the main point of contact for German-language law firms and corporate clients, ensuring they receive fast, professional support for renewal services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high-quality service to a portfolio of renewal customers, handling inquiries and requests in German.
• Collaborate with internal departments to meet service level agreements and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate customer profiles and share up-to-date information with relevant teams.
• Assist teammates with workload spikes and contribute to project work for existing clients.
• Occasionally manage small projects related to customer accounts.

Required profile

• Proficient in German and English (both written and spoken).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Previous B2B customer-facing experience with a strong customer orientation.
• Basic understanding of patents and the International Patent Classification (IPC).
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with demanding customers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
