Head of Cyber Security Practice

About the role

Raptoric is seeking a hands‑on security leader to deliver complex engagements and build a scalable cyber‑security practice. You will initially scope, deliver and quality‑review client work, then grow the team and shape the service offering.

Key responsibilities

• End‑to‑end delivery and quality assurance of authorized security engagements.
• Scoping, proposal creation, pricing, delivery planning and client communication.
• Define methodologies, evidence handling, reporting templates and quality gates.
• Hire, onboard, mentor and manage consultants, ensuring high utilization and performance.
• Develop service roadmap, tooling and repeatable delivery processes.
• Drive client retention, account growth and new service‑line development.
• Meet practice‑level targets for revenue, margin, pipeline coverage, quality and client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Senior, hands‑on security experience with broad coverage across offensive testing and advisory on defensive, cloud, architecture, incident response and compliance.
• Proven leadership or clear readiness to build and run a consulting team.
• Commercial awareness and strong client‑facing skills to win and grow work.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., OSCP, OSEP, CRTO, CISSP) or demonstrable equivalent expertise.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and undergo background checks.

Required skills

• Windows, Linux and Active Directory.
• At least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Scripting in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Proficiency with Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit and BloodHound.
