Integration Developer - Azure Integration Services

About the role

Merkle, a dentsu company, is looking for an Integration Developer in Belgrade. The role designs, develops, tests and maintains integrations across the digital ecosystem using Azure Integration Services, implementing integration patterns defined by Enterprise Architecture and ensuring secure, scalable and governed data exchange between business applications, digital platforms and customer-facing solutions. The position works closely with Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, Product Owners and application teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrations using Azure Integration Services
• Implement workflows using Azure Logic Apps
• Build and manage APIs through Azure API Management
• Design asynchronous messaging solutions using Azure Service Bus
• Design data transformation and mapping logic, and integrate CMS, DAM, PIM, ERP, CRM and other systems
• Apply security, authentication, authorization and encryption standards consistently
• Troubleshoot integration issues and support root cause analysis
• Contribute to integration documentation, data flow diagrams and operational runbooks
• Support unit, integration and end-to-end testing, and monitor performance, reliability and scalability
• Take part in Agile ceremonies and help with delivery planning and estimation

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Integration Developer, Middleware Developer or API Developer
• Strong knowledge of Azure Logic Apps and hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services
• Experience with Azure API Management, Azure Data Factory and Azure Service Bus
• Understanding of enterprise integration patterns and best practices
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience in Agile delivery environments

Required skills

• REST APIs, JSON, XML and API design principles
• Authentication mechanisms such as OAuth2, JWT and Azure Entra ID
• Data mapping, transformation and integration workflows
• Nice to have: CMS, DAM, PIM, ERP, CRM or eCommerce integration; Azure Functions, Azure Monitor and Application Insights; Infrastructure as Code; data governance frameworks; Azure certifications (AZ-204, AZ-305, AZ-400); manufacturing or industrial experience; global multi-region integration experience
