Junior Fund Accountant

About the role

The Junior Fund Accountant will support the fund administration team by handling daily accounting tasks, preparing financial statements and assisting with audit processes. This entry‑level position offers exposure to private‑equity fund operations within a global organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and input daily journal entries.
• Produce fund financial statements, including footnotes and supporting schedules.
• Coordinate and support year‑end audits.
• Monitor and record daily cash activity.
• Prepare fund capital activity allocations and partner capital accounts.
• Track portfolio company transactions and calculate investment returns.
• Produce various investor and investment requests.
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members.
• Perform ad‑hoc financial analysis and assist clients as required.

Required profile

• 0‑3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• University degree, preferably in Economics, Accounting, Finance or Audit.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly motivated team player capable of multitasking.

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel.
