Junior Maintenance Technician

About the role

Respond and attend to guest repair requests, perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen and mechanical room equipment, and ensure the safety and appearance of hotel facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and communicate daily activities to other shifts.
• Perform preventive maintenance, visual inspections, cleaning and lubrication of tools and equipment.
• Identify, locate and operate shut‑off valves for equipment and building utilities.
• Carry equipment such as tools and radios as needed.
• Prepare surfaces, paint, perform minor drywall and wood‑trim repairs, and clean work areas.
• Replace light bulbs, A/C filters and perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Use lockout/tagout procedures before any maintenance work.
• Repair interior and exterior landscaping, including sprinkler systems.
• Follow all company safety, security and environmental policies.
• Maintain a clean, professional uniform and appearance while welcoming guests.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Some experience in general maintenance, surface preparation and painting.
• No supervisory experience required.
