About the role

DS Smith is looking for a Master of Gluing and Embellishing to operate and maintain its adhesive and embellishment machinery. The role ensures machines run safely, efficiently and in line with production plans while delivering high‑quality output.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, adjust and maintain gluing and embellishment machines, including belt and bearing changes.
• Perform incoming material inspections and verify compliance with work orders.
• Monitor and record process quality using the MES system, making corrections as needed.
• Control glue application, barcode reading and box ejection systems.
• Communicate deviations, interventions and shift hand‑over details to the next crew.
• Maintain glue inventory levels and replenish containers.
• Document all activities according to prescribed procedures.

Required profile

Required skills

• Experience with MES systems for production tracking.
