Manager, Specialist Sales – SME South-Eastern Europe

About the role

Mastercard’s SME segment is looking for a Manager, Specialist Sales to lead commercial execution across financial institutions, fintechs and alternative distribution channels in South‑Eastern Europe. You will translate Mastercard’s global SME vision into measurable market outcomes and drive new payment flows and service revenues.

Key responsibilities

• Localize the SME and CNPF vision for the region, partnering with banks, fintechs, acquirers and ISVs to evolve product offerings.
• Develop go‑to‑market approaches with the Customer Solutions Center and account teams, own KPIs, dashboards and pipeline discipline.
• Prioritize and launch new or enhanced SME services, refining positioning based on local regulatory and competitive landscapes.
• Lead senior‑level engagement with issuers, acquirers and platform partners to capture new payment flows and expand the footprint.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (product, pricing, legal, marketing) to unblock complex deals and ensure post‑launch success.

Required profile

• Experience in payments, banking, fintech or related B2B services with proven sales ownership.
• Strong account management and consultative selling capabilities.
• Strategic or consulting exposure with technology‑enabled solutions and an analytical mindset.
• Fluent English; South‑Eastern European languages preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s/MBA preferred.
