Operations Center Engineer

About the role

Mainstream is looking for an Operations Center Engineer in Belgrade on a full-time permanent basis. The role covers maintenance of virtual infrastructure and basic support for network infrastructure, with use of the ticketing system, alarm monitoring, time tracking and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain virtual infrastructure and provide basic support for network infrastructure
• Use the ticketing system and monitor alarms continuously
• Use time tracking software
• Update and create the documentation needed for daily work processes
• Contribute to digital and AI transformation initiatives

Required profile

• Ability to work in shifts
• Advanced level of English
• Nice to have: CCNA-level network knowledge, ticketing and monitoring platform experience, proactivity and curiosity

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Windows and/or Linux, Microsoft infrastructure (AD, FileShare, NTFS, IIS)
• Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware, Ovirt, KVM, XenServer)
• TCP/IP and basic protocols (DNS, FTP, SSH, SFTP)
• Nice to have: Linux scripting, LAMP/LEMP stack, Apache, Nginx, Postfix, Dovecot, MySQL/MariaDB, PowerShell, Exchange, MS SQL
