Performance QA Team Lead (World of Warships, PC)

About the role

Wargaming is seeking a Performance QA Team Lead to drive performance testing and automation for the World of Warships PC title. You will lead a dedicated QA team, ensure stable gameplay experiences, and collaborate closely with development and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, mentor and provide technical guidance to the Performance QA team.
• Define and maintain performance testing strategy, coverage, baselines, thresholds and regression criteria.
• Investigate performance regressions, identify bottlenecks and lead root‑cause analysis across client, backend and system components.
• Drive performance testing and automation for game client, backend services, network interactions and system‑level scenarios.
• Create and maintain test infrastructure, tools and frameworks for the QA team.
• Document performance tests, tools and processes.
• Collaborate with development and other teams to analyse results and drive improvements.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and participate in architectural reviews from a QA perspective.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in Performance QA, Performance Engineering or related fields.
• Proven experience leading QA teams or providing technical leadership.
• Strong understanding of performance engineering principles.
• Upper‑Intermediate (B2) or higher English proficiency.

Required skills

• Python programming.
