About the role
DS Smith is looking for a production worker (press operator) in Valjevo. The role covers loading and unloading pallets, setting up cutting lines and operating the machine during the cutting process.
Key responsibilities
- Bring pallets into the area in front of the press and prepare them for cutting
- Load and unload pallets continuously and place them in the correct zone
- Cut and set up the cutting lines
- Take part in adjusting the tools used for cutting
- Monitor the machine's operation and speed during cutting
- Carry out process control while working
- Check that the assigned part of the machine is working properly
- Maintain the assigned part of the machine preventively
