Quality NPI Engineer – Manufacturing Process Improvement

About the role

As a Quality NPI Engineer at Goodyear, you will ensure that new products and manufacturing processes meet the company’s high quality standards. You will work on the shop floor in Krusevac, applying proven engineering tools to drive continuous improvement and guarantee customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Apply quality engineering tools to enhance process and product performance.
• Support the rollout of new products, processes, and technologies while ensuring specification compliance.
• Lead process‑improvement initiatives and contribute to plant‑wide optimization projects.
• Track and report process performance indicators, identifying corrective‑action opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to solve problems and implement innovative solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for products and processes.
• Audit compliance and support root‑cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.

Required profile

• VI/VII degree in a technical, chemical, or engineering discipline.
• Advanced English language proficiency.
• Prior exposure to manufacturing quality systems and product compliance standards.
• Knowledge of root‑cause analysis methods in industrial or automotive environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience using quality tools such as A3, DMAIC, MiniTab, and BrainCube.
• Familiarity with Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Project‑management experience in a manufacturing setting.
