Safety and PV Project Delivery Lead (Hybrid)

About the role

The Safety and PV Project Delivery Lead will drive the planning, execution and oversight of safety and pharmacovigilance activities for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and client expectations. Working in a hybrid model based in Serbia, the role partners with cross‑functional teams and serves as the primary liaison between Syneos Health and the sponsor.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage safety and pharmacovigilance (SPVG) deliverables across the project lifecycle.
• Ensure all contracted safety activities are delivered on time, within budget and in regulatory compliance.
• Develop integrated SPVG project/program timelines, report weekly progress and flag risks.
• Coordinate with sponsor/customer and functional leads (Project Management, Clinical Monitoring, SSU, Medical Writing, Data Management) to align deliverables.
• Oversee start‑up, maintenance and closure phases of SPVG activities.
• Provide accurate projections, status reports and risk assessments to project stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading safety/pharmacovigilance projects in the life‑sciences industry.
• Strong understanding of global PV regulations and safety reporting processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines and cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills to act as the main point of contact for sponsors and internal teams.
• Ability to identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
