Senior Accountant – Finance & Business Services

About the role

As an experienced accountant (m/f/x), you will manage the full accounting agenda and work within a multi‑member accounting team, reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Coordinate and process accounting agendas, including accruals.
• Handle annual audits in line with local law and liaise with auditors.
• Control compliance with deadlines and internal guidelines such as SOX, compliance and legal requirements.
• Collaborate on local and global process improvements, including SAP and SOX initiatives.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a senior accountant.
• Completion of an accountant examination or equivalent training.
• Commercial training (HAK/HAS or similar).
• Independent, organized work style with high reliability and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and as a hands‑on team player.

Required skills

• SAP R/3 or SAP S/4 Hana Cloud.
• Advanced Excel.
• OneStream.
• Group accounting.
• US GAAP knowledge.
