Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to lead the financial management of our parent company and its affiliates. You will ensure accurate reporting, compliance with international standards, and support our mission of building a sustainable food system.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory annual financial statements and tax balance sheets within legal deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with international accounting standards, regulatory reporting, and transfer pricing.
• Monitor legislative changes and maintain adherence to accounting and tax regulations.
• Participate in regular and ad‑hoc audits, coordinating with tax and inspection authorities.
• Review monthly VAT calculations, verify returns, and handle property and eco‑tax submissions.
• Prepare transfer pricing reports and calculate depreciation, capitalisation, and fixed‑asset records.
• Reconcile financial and inventory records, oversee agricultural production accounting, and implement a new ERP system.
• Process payroll and employee compensation.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in senior accounting roles, preferably in food production, processing or sales.
• Strong knowledge of international accounting standards and tax legislation.
• Proficiency in Serbian and English.
• High level of precision, analytical ability and personal ownership.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems.
