Senior Facility Manager

About the role

Workster is recruiting a Senior Facility Manager for a leading B2B solution provider's studios in Belgrade, Serbia. The role leads the facility management team and ensures facilities run efficiently, safely and cost-effectively, covering maintenance, housekeeping, hygiene, vendor management, budgeting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to optimise facility operations, housekeeping and hygiene standards
• Lead, manage and mentor the facility management team, including recruitment, training and performance management
• Oversee maintenance, repairs and upgrades while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, hygiene and regulatory standards
• Enforce housekeeping protocols and hygiene standards across all facilities
• Conduct regular audits and inspections, drive corrective actions and continuous improvement
• Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and service quality monitoring
• Control budgets, track expenses and oversee inventory of equipment, supplies and consumables
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and report performance and recommendations to senior management

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of proven facility management experience, ideally in international or multi-site environments
• Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field; advanced qualifications an advantage
• In-depth knowledge of maintenance, security, space planning and health, safety and hygiene regulations
• Demonstrated leadership, people management and interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Professional written and spoken English
