Senior Performance Automation QA Engineer – World of Warships (PC)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Performance Automation QA Engineer to join the World of Warships PC team. In this position you will focus on performance testing and automation, helping to identify bottlenecks and ensure a smooth, stable experience for players.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated functional, performance, and stability tests using Python.
• Build and extend the core automation framework.
• Analyze test results, investigate failures, and provide actionable feedback.
• Perform performance testing and profiling of the game client and backend services.
• Maintain documentation for tests, frameworks, and tools.
• Collaborate with QA, development, and other internal teams to support automation needs.
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline development and related tooling.
• Provide internal customers with automation solutions and participate in code reviews.

Required profile

• 3+ years experience in performance testing or performance QA.
• 3+ years experience in automation QA or a similar role.
• 1+ year commercial experience with Python‑based automated testing, including pytest.
• Hands‑on experience with performance testing tools (e.g., k6, load testing, profiling tools).
• Experience analyzing and optimizing PC game performance.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch for log collection and analysis.
• Experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins or TeamCity.
• Good understanding of PC architecture basics and performance metrics (FPS, frame time, CPU/GPU utilization, memory consumption).
• Upper‑intermediate English (B2) or higher.
