Senior Salesforce Consultant

About the role

Merkle, a dentsu company, is looking for a Senior Salesforce Consultant in Belgrade. The consultant advises and leads the implementation of CRM strategies, optimizes CRM systems and ensures they align with business objectives to strengthen customer relationships and drive growth. The role covers CRM strategy, digital transformation, project leadership and mentoring.

Key responsibilities

• Lead consulting projects focused on CRM capabilities and develop digital transformation strategies and concepts.
• Advise clients on their digital roadmap, identify value generation opportunities and act as a subject matter expert in client pitches.
• Manage business backlog items, prioritize them and act as a mentor for junior consultants and analysts.
• Define and enhance industry-specific business processes and lead business process re-engineering.
• Conduct requirements engineering and create functional specifications for solutions on platforms such as Adobe, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics and Sitecore.
• Document functional and non-functional requirements and prepare and facilitate client workshops.
• Build the bridge between internal and client stakeholders and collaborate with development, UX/Design and content teams.
• Support customers throughout their digital projects, configure CRM workflows and automation, and lead CRM adoption programs.
• Manage C-level stakeholders, lead enterprise-wide CRM implementation projects and change management, and use predictive analytics and AI-driven insights for CRM improvements.

Required profile

• Experience in large-scale CRM implementations and expertise in multiple CRM platforms.
• Cross-industry expertise, including global or highly regulated industries.
• Ability to manage C-level stakeholders and lead enterprise-wide CRM projects and change management.
• Team player with organizational skills and dedication to transparency.

Required skills

• CRM platforms, including Salesforce, with experience in large-scale implementations.
• Databases, mainly to understand data structures in CRM projects.
• CRM configuration and optimization, workflow and automation setup.
• Data analytics and reporting, using predictive analytics and AI-driven insights.
• Business process mapping and re-engineering.
