Senior Salesforce Engineer

About the role

Merkle, a dentsu company, is hiring a Senior Salesforce Engineer in Belgrade. The role leads the design, customization and optimization of the CRM platform, ensuring robust integration, advanced data analytics and scalable solutions that support the domain's strategic objectives and drive customer relationship excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex digital and software solutions in the CRM domain
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Ensure architectural integrity and consistency across the software development lifecycle, and develop and maintain architecture documentation
• Take part in project planning and estimation, and drive continuous improvement within the team
• Act as a subject matter expert for pitches and client work, and contribute to the team's vision and strategy

Required profile

• Excellent knowledge of CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot and Microsoft Dynamics (backend and frontend)
• Experience leading and managing project development in Agile or Scrum environments
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple priorities and deadlines, and guide junior members
• Strong problem-solving skills, troubleshooting and debugging abilities, and good organizational skills

Required skills

• Programming in APEX, C# and .NET
• REST/SOAP API integration with other systems
• CI/CD and version control tools such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket and Jenkins
• Databases: querying customer data for reporting
• Data analysis and reporting with Excel, Power BI or Tableau
• Understanding of data segmentation, customer lifecycle and personalization
