Senior Site Contracts Specialist – UK Negotiations

About the role

The Senior Site Contracts Specialist will lead the preparation, negotiation and execution of site agreements for clinical trials across the United Kingdom. Working within Worldwide Clinical Trials’ Site Contract Department, the role collaborates with legal, data‑privacy, study teams, sponsors and investigators to ensure contracts are accurate, compliant and signed on time.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare country‑specific contract templates.
• Draft and send site agreements and related contracts for negotiation.
• Negotiate contract language and budgets with assigned sites to finalisation and execution.
• Review study budgets and costs related to contract negotiation.
• Perform quality checks of site agreements and associated documents before the signature process.
• Provide draft or signed contracts/budgets to the regulatory team when required.
• Liaise with Worldwide Legal Department, Data Privacy team, study teams, sponsors, sites and investigators.
• Facilitate contract signatures by Worldwide when applicable.
• Distribute fully executed site agreements to sites, eTMF, payment team, sponsor and internal SharePoint.
• Negotiate amendment language and budgets for site agreements.
• Create termination letters or other contract‑related documents and send for signature.
• Maintain a tracking tool with real‑time updates for functional activities.

Required profile

• Proficient in negotiating clinical trial site contracts and budgets.
• Experience reviewing study budgets and related costs.
• Strong attention to detail for contract quality checks.
• Ability to maintain and update tracking tools.
