Staff Accountant

About the role

ReSupply, a U.S.-based charity technology company, is seeking a detail‑oriented Staff Accountant to join its growing Finance team in Belgrade. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will own day‑to‑day accounting operations and help shape the in‑house Finance function for a global organization of 100+ employees.

Key responsibilities

• Review, categorize, and record daily financial transactions in QuickBooks.
• Process vendor invoices and payments, maintain vendor profiles, and support vendor management.
• Perform cash reconciliations and assist with month‑end close procedures.
• Prepare regular financial reports and provide accurate information to management.
• Process semi‑monthly payroll.
• Respond to ad‑hoc accounting and operational requests from internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Accounting teams in Belgrade, Guatemala, and U.S. partners.
• Maintain high standards of data accuracy, organization, and compliance with US GAAP.

Required profile

• Experience working with U.S.-based companies and US GAAP.
• Hands‑on experience with QuickBooks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently with high ownership and self‑organization.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational and time‑management skills.
