Senior Accounts Payable Accountant

About the role

We are looking for new team members who will shape the future of our new Corporate Finance Shared Service Center (CFSSC) in Novi Sad. As the CFSSC is being established, there is a greater opportunity to contribute to process improvement, operation optimization, and implementation of market best practices. Join us as a Senior Accounts Payable Accountant!

Key responsibilities

• Review, process, and post supplier and intercompany invoices.
• Prepare and process supplier and intercompany payments in line with Group deadlines and internal procedures.
• Reconcile supplier accounts, balances, and intercompany transactions, and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage advance payments and ensure accurate accounting entries.
• Handle complex and sensitive AP activities and resolve escalated issues.
• Support month‑end closing and prepare AP‑related reports and analyses.
• Process business travel and corporate credit card expenses.
• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations, internal policies, and AP controls.
• Support and mentor team members and provide training within your area of expertise.
• Identify opportunities to improve and standardize AP processes and documentation.
• Participate in new process, system, and Group projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure smooth and timely payment processes.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in accounts payable or a related field.
• Experience working with SAP.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and processes.
• Experience in a Shared Service Center or international environment (preferred).
• Strong mathematical and numerical aptitude.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong problem‑solving and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English.
