About the role
The Strategic Buyer will lead procurement activities for our Valjevo location, ensuring optimal supplier selection and supply stability. You will work closely with business units to align purchasing strategies with company goals.
Key responsibilities
- Lead activities related to supply sources and supplier selection.
- Define objectives and detailed plans for each project in line with business unit and procurement strategies.
- Conduct benchmarking and comparative analysis.
- Manage supply‑chain risks and implement actions to maintain a stable supply chain.
- Report on progress and activities to stakeholders.
- Achieve project goals and deliver results on time.
- Represent the procurement sector in internal global projects and external engagements.
Required profile
- Minimum high school education (VI or VII) with an economic or technical focus.
- Good understanding of supply processes.
- Strong independence and assertiveness.
- Flexibility, good communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in English.
