Technical Manager

About the role

The Technical Manager will lead the construction, commissioning and ongoing operation of a new greenfield production facility for technical aerosols in Sombor. This senior position requires hands‑on project execution and coordination with multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main contact for all construction‑related activities, liaising with public authorities, engineering firms and equipment suppliers to ensure timely plant setup.
• Oversee technology transfer, equipment delivery and installation during the finalisation phase.
• Manage the technical and engineering department once the plant is operational, including training, knowledge transfer and risk minimisation.
• Ensure production runs meet quality, deadline and HSE standards, and supervise maintenance, fire protection and health‑safety measures.
• Support the General Manager on all production‑related matters and develop team training plans.

Required profile

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven leadership experience in a structured production environment, preferably chemical or similar process industry.
• Experience working in SEVESO and ATEX regulated environments.
• Background in managing technical departments and developing procedures.
• Experience with greenfield investments is highly desirable.
