Threat Intel Analyst

About the role

Ball is seeking a Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Analyst to monitor, analyze, and report on cyber‑threat activity. The analyst will work closely with cybersecurity and technology teams to develop actionable intelligence that supports defense operations, incident response, and risk prioritization.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor threat intelligence sources to identify emerging threats, campaigns, vulnerabilities, and indicators relevant to the organization.
• Analyze threat data to uncover patterns, trends, and potential impacts across enterprise environments.
• Provide intelligence context during security investigations and incident response activities.
• Map threat activity to vulnerabilities, exposures, and existing security controls.
• Produce clear, accurate threat intelligence reports, summaries, and briefings for operational stakeholders.
• Maintain documentation, tracking records, and supporting artifacts for consistency and auditability.
• Support intelligence collection, cyber exercises, and scenario development.
• Escalate significant findings or emerging risks to senior team members promptly.
• Collaborate with Cyber Defense Operations, Attack Surface Management, GRC, OT Security, and Architecture & Engineering teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Intelligence Studies, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, threat analysis, or a related analytical discipline.
• Exposure to threat intelligence, security monitoring, incident response, or cyber defense activities.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications are a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with curiosity for emerging threats.
