Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

DS Smith, a global provider of corrugated packaging solutions, is looking for a seasoned Warehouse Supervisor to support its production sites in Kruševac. The role is central to keeping daily warehouse operations running smoothly, ensuring efficient storage, accurate inventory control and timely delivery of goods in line with production and sales plans.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and supervise daily warehouse activities for raw materials and finished products.
• Monitor and control inventory levels of cardboard, raw materials and finished boxes with production and procurement.
• Oversee goods receiving, storage and labelling of materials by type, dimensions and orders.
• Coordinate preparation and dispatch of finished products according to delivery schedules and sales requirements.
• Maintain accurate stock movement records using ERP or WMS systems.
• Manage and allocate warehouse staff, monitor performance and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Keep the warehouse orderly, clean and optimally used.
• Work with logistics and transport teams to plan shipments and optimise delivery costs.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on stock levels, turnover and efficiency.
• Take part in inventory planning and propose measures to reduce surplus and waste.

Required profile

• Secondary or higher education, preferably in Logistics, Management or Economics.
• Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of cardboard packaging materials and production processes (an advantage).
• Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.
• Responsibility, accuracy and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Experience with warehouse management software (ERP/WMS)
• Computer literacy
