About the role

We are seeking a Waste Management & Environmental Compliance Expert to join a leading industrial company. The role focuses on ensuring that waste handling processes meet EU and local regulations while supporting continuous improvement in an industrial setting.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with EU and local waste management regulations.
• Assess current waste practices and recommend improvements.
• Support implementation and monitoring of waste compliance programs.
• Review classification, storage, handling, transport and disposal of hazardous and non‑hazardous waste.
• Maintain compliance documentation and assist with audits and inspections.
• Provide practical guidance to operational teams and waste contractors.

Required profile

• Proven experience in waste management and environmental compliance within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of the EU waste regulatory framework and its practical application.
• Hands‑on experience with both hazardous and non‑hazardous waste streams.
• Pragmatic, autonomous and solution‑oriented approach.
• Good English communication skills.
