Data Engineer – Cloud Data Warehouse (Remote)

About the role

Tabby is looking for a Data Engineer to join its Data Warehouse (DWH) team. You will help design, build and maintain a cloud‑based data warehouse that powers business analytics, machine‑learning pipelines and partner integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the corporate data warehouse for business users, analysts and ML engineers.
• Synchronise data between internal systems and external partners.
• Build tools for ingesting data into the warehouse.
• Design, implement and optimise EL/ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Integrate data‑governance and data‑quality practices.
• Identify and implement cost‑optimisation measures.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Hands‑on experience with data‑warehouse development and maintenance.
• Knowledge of data‑warehouse architectures (Kimball, Inmon, Medallion, Data Mesh).
• Strong data‑modeling skills (SCD, star schema, Data Vault, normal forms).
• Proficiency in Python and SQL following best‑practice guidelines.
• Understanding of system‑design best practices.
