Data Engineer

About the role

Tabby is building a modern data warehouse to support its fast‑growing fintech platform. As a Data Engineer you will design, develop, and maintain cloud‑based data pipelines and storage solutions that enable business users, analysts, and ML engineers to access reliable data.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the corporate data warehouse for business users, analysts, and ML engineers.
• Synchronize data between internal systems and external partners.
• Build tools for ingesting data into the warehouse.
• Design, implement, and optimise EL/ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Integrate data‑governance and data‑quality practices.
• Identify and implement cost‑optimisation measures.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Hands‑on experience with data‑warehouse development and maintenance.
• Knowledge of data‑warehouse architectures such as Kimball, Inmon, Medallion, and Data Mesh.
• Familiarity with data‑modeling techniques (SCD, normal forms, star schema, Data Vault).
• Strong understanding of system‑design best practices.
