About the role

The company seeks an experienced Wholesale Director to lead its national wholesale operations. This senior position is responsible for shaping sales strategy, expanding distribution channels, and driving revenue growth while managing a high‑performing sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and define the wholesale sales strategy, plans and targets.
• Lead and coach the wholesale sales team to achieve objectives.
• Prepare sales forecasts and monitor market trends, economic indicators and competitor activity.
• Initiate and coordinate action plans for entering new markets.
• Maintain relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Set pricing policies and sales terms for customers.
• Track KPIs, propose improvement actions and monitor results.
• Create and follow annual, monthly and weekly work plans.
• Oversee collection efficiency and report results to the General Director.
• Control costs in line with budgeted projections.
• Support development and implementation of marketing plans.
• Collaborate with other company departments.

Required profile

• Minimum VII (college) level education.
• At least 7 years of FMCG experience, including 3+ years in a senior wholesale or sales role.
• Proven track record in sales development and managing large customers.
• Strong negotiation, organizational and leadership abilities.
• Deep knowledge of the Serbian FMCG market.
• Active English proficiency.
• Valid B‑category driver’s license and willingness to travel.

• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Experience with CRM systems.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
