Engineering Manager (Hybrid Cloud Storage/Linux Systems)

About the role

Nutanix is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead its Files team in Serbia. You will own a key area of the Nutanix Files product, shaping architecture, design, and delivery of a multi‑cloud/hybrid storage solution while mentoring a high‑performing group of engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers, establishing best practices and engineering standards.
• Own the replication and infrastructure components of the Nutanix Files solution.
• Recruit, hire, and retain top technical talent for the team and related Nutanix groups.
• Collaborate with engineering teams across multiple geographies to align on product direction.
• Drive culture, team alignment, and organizational growth within the Serbia office.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience managing engineering teams.
• At least 6 years of hands‑on experience developing systems or distributed software.
• Strong technical leadership with a passion for programming and code quality.
• Deep understanding of UNIX/Linux environments.
• Proven ability to design and ship complex, scalable storage solutions.
