Render Engineer – Game Engine Development

About the role

Wargaming is seeking a Render Engineer to join its Game Engine Development team, working on a cross‑platform engine written in C++. The role focuses on creating and enhancing graphics features for an upcoming, unannounced project.

Key responsibilities

• Implement new graphics features and improve existing ones.
• Refactor and optimise code, fix graphic‑related bugs.
• Write clean C++ code following the established code style.
• Produce technical documentation for implemented systems.

Required profile

• 2+ years of commercial C++ development experience.
• Proficiency with at least one graphics API (DirectX, Vulkan, OpenGL).
• Experience writing shaders (GSL, HLSL) and a solid grasp of linear algebra (vectors, matrices, quaternions).
• Hands‑on experience building 3D demo applications or a personal engine.
• Familiarity with debugging and profiling tools such as Nsight, RenderDoc, or PIX.
• Understanding of the graphics pipeline and GPU architecture.
• Intermediate English communication skills.
