Staff Software Engineer in Test

About the role

We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer in Test to lead the quality assurance function for our mapping and infotainment systems in Serbia. You will own end‑to‑end test strategy, automation framework design, and CI/CD integration while collaborating with teams in Belgrade, North America, and other global locations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the test automation and quality strategy for mapping and location‑based services.
• Design, implement, and maintain Python‑based automation frameworks and tooling for system benches and on‑vehicle validation.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/Jenkins or similar) to ensure reliability and visibility.
• Balance manual, exploratory, unit, integration, and system testing to maximize early defect detection.
• Scale system and end‑to‑end testing across current and future vehicle platforms.

Required profile

• Strong ownership mindset for product quality.
• Experience leading test strategy for complex software systems.
• Ability to work across multiple time zones and coordinate with global stakeholders.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Pytest or similar testing frameworks.
