Cloud Security Architect

About the role

Camlin is seeking a Cloud Security Architect to design and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructures across its global operations. The role works closely with product, engineering, QA, compliance and ISMS teams to embed security by design, provide guidance and ensure resilience against evolving threats.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑level and low‑level design blueprints for public and private cloud environments.
• Define and maintain cloud security standards, policies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Design and configure security tools such as firewalls, SIEM, intrusion detection/prevention systems and encryption mechanisms.
• Conduct threat modelling, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, and drive remediation.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, ISO 27017, NIST CSF and other relevant standards.
• Collaborate with DevOps, ISMS and engineering teams to integrate security into the DevSecOps lifecycle.
• Define IAM roles, policies and access controls, and implement micro‑segmentation and secure API gateways.
• Oversee cloud application security testing, monitoring, incident response and continuous improvement of security monitoring toolchains.

Required profile

• Strong technical foundation in cloud security architecture and secure DevOps practices.
• Hands‑on experience designing secure cloud environments on AWS, Azure or platform‑independent solutions.
• Proactive security mindset with ability to translate complex concepts into actionable engineering practices.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle.
