Group Head of Controlling

About the role

The Group Head of Controlling will lead the controlling function across OMR Group’s diversified businesses, which include automotive, insurance, leasing, fleet management and real estate. Reporting to senior management, you will shape financial planning, budgeting and reporting processes to support strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define methodology, procedures and rules for group‑level controlling.
• Design tools and processes for financial planning and budgeting across the Group.
• Coordinate the budgeting cycle and prepare group‑wide financial forecasts.
• Establish frameworks for internal reporting and ensure timely monthly management reports, profitability analyses, ad‑hoc reports and non‑financial (CSRD) reporting.
• Analyse financial risks, monitor results and project cash flow, revenue and cost trends.
• Prepare scenario analyses, simulations and financial models for strategic decisions.
• Ensure the quality of internal financial reporting and budgeting.
• Lead covenant management for existing contracts and potential financing projects.
• Collaborate with other functions, departments and subsidiaries.
• Guarantee compliance with laws, regulations, technical standards and internal procedures, as well as environmental, safety and information‑security policies.
• Oversee the use of approved software applications and maintain data integrity.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics (VII level of education).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar controlling or finance leadership role.
• Strong analytical and organisational abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Good command of the English language.
