IP Admin Analyst (Patents Team, Entry-Level)

About the role

Clarivate is looking for an IP Admin Analyst to join its wider IP Operations team in Belgrade. The role contributes to essential patent processes such as applications, registrations, recordals and renewals, while learning from experienced paralegals and senior team members. It is a full-time, hybrid position with core hours in the CET time zone, working from the Belgrade office at least three days every other week.

Key responsibilities

• Support patent-related projects and provide back-up operational support to clients and supervisors
• Support paralegals and patent attorneys in prosecuting patent applications and registrations with local and international IP offices, directly or via outside counsel
• Gather and provide outside counsel with the information and documentation needed to prosecute and maintain patent applications and registrations
• Create summaries and status reports of patent matters for clients
• Stay up to date with procedural changes and evolving regulations in international IP legislation and offices
• Issue invoices and review outside counsel invoices for accuracy

Required profile

• Proficiency in English
• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience
• 1 year of experience in a relevant IP field is a plus
• A paralegal qualification, IP training or certificates, or customer care/support experience with direct client contact are considered a bonus

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
