Senior Analyst, Trademarks IP Administration

About the role

Clarivate is looking for a Senior Analyst to join its Trademarks IP Admin Team in Belgrade, reporting to the Team Manager. The role supports global IP operations within the Operations team, which covers trademark and design applications, registrations, recordals and renewals. It is a full-time position with CET working hours, hybrid with the office at least three days every other week.

Key responsibilities

• Manage foreign trademark and design portfolios and continuously improve related processes
• Coordinate projects and project teams, and respond to client enquiries about trademark and design protection issues
• Work with a team to oversee filing and maintenance of foreign applications and registrations, and supervise prosecution and maintenance deadlines
• Coordinate trademark and design filings and maintenance worldwide, draft instructions to foreign counsel and supervise outside counsel so deadlines are met
• Handle direct filing and maintenance of national, regional and WIPO filings, manage correspondence with the relevant offices and supervise portfolio status charts and reports
• Improve procedures and keep the IP management system up to date with legal requirements, working with foreign counsel
• Oversee execution and legalization of documents such as powers of attorney, review outgoing and outside counsel invoices for accuracy, and handle confidential material and data inconsistencies

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience
• Proficiency in English
• Nice to have: 1 year of experience in the IP field, 1 year in client-facing roles, paralegal qualification, IP training or certificates, familiarity with Argos renewal management

Required skills

• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
