Junior Accounts Payable Specialist

About the role

Nestle Operational Services Worldwide SA is looking for a Junior Accounts Payable Specialist in Belgrade, within the Accounting team and reporting to the Accounting Manager Serbia & Montenegro. The role covers a wide range of accounts payable activities, from invoice processing to reporting and audits, and offers the chance to grow expertise in the field.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare incoming invoices for posting (liquidation) and scan them to the Shared Service Center for Serbia
• Monitor goods receipt and invoice receipt on a weekly basis
• Prepare accounts payable reports on request
• Support and resolve parked and blocked workflows
• Create internal web forms, dummy invoices and down payment requests
• Check that postings from NBS are accurate using a defined sample
• Take part in PEC/YEC related to accounts payable, internal and external audits, and inventory counts
• Handle travel and expenses (sending to the Shared Service Center, supporting the organization, archiving)
• Archive incoming service invoices on a daily basis

Required profile

• Proactive person with strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
• Willingness to learn and to work in a team
• University degree in a relevant field such as economics or accounting
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Good written and spoken English

Required skills

• Advanced use of the MS Office package
