About the role

We are looking for a Junior Technician to join our microbiology laboratory. The role supports product, water, environment and personnel testing in line with ISO, GMP and internal procedures, ensuring the safety and quality of our manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify bacteria and fungi in air samples.
• Determine endotoxin levels in process water and on washed products.
• Assess microbial contamination on contact surfaces, personnel hands and finished products.
• Perform particle counting in primary packaging zones and drying equipment.
• Measure air flow velocity according to specifications.
• Conduct internal calibrations and document results in electronic systems.
• Maintain inventory of consumables and order supplies.
• Complete required documentation and ensure proper equipment handling and workplace cleanliness.

Required profile

• Secondary technical education (e.g., pharmaceutical, chemical, medical technician) with coursework in microbiology or biology.
• General health fitness for laboratory work.
• Basic knowledge of English or German.
• Ability to organise time, set priorities and communicate clearly.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using SAP.
