Project Manager (AI Oriented)

About the role

Synechron is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead AI‑focused initiatives, including Generative AI, Machine Learning, Automation and data‑driven solutions. The role bridges clients, business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver end‑to‑end AI projects from concept to production.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate cross‑functional delivery teams for AI, GenAI, ML and automation projects.
• Act as the primary client liaison, managing expectations and stakeholder relationships.
• Define project scope, timelines, milestones, resources, risks and success metrics together with architects and AI engineers.
• Maintain project artefacts such as plans, RAID logs, status reports and executive communications.
• Support the full AI lifecycle: data readiness, model development, testing, deployment, monitoring and retraining.
• Facilitate architectural discussions, roadmap planning and adoption of Agile, Scrum and DevOps practices.
• Ensure compliance with Responsible AI, privacy, security and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee transition of AI solutions into production and business‑as‑usual operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex technology transformation projects, preferably in AI or data science domains.
• Strong ability to align business objectives with technical delivery and to communicate with senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated skill in risk identification, mitigation and issue resolution.
• Experience working in a hybrid environment with teams located in multiple sites.
