Senior Backend Software Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer you will join the Altium 365 Platform team to design and build cloud‑native applications that power the world’s most collaborative electronics design platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new cloud‑native services and scalable infrastructure for Altium 365.
• Implement AI/ML‑enhanced search capabilities and large‑scale data processing pipelines.
• Design holistic, intent‑based APIs and data models.
• Work with both stateful and stateless servers, relational databases and ORM frameworks.
• Contribute to engineering standards, best practices and technical governance.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional .NET development experience.
• Strong background in microservices architecture and cloud solutions.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and take ownership of complex features.
• Effective team player who can collaborate and influence technical direction.
• Experience defining engineering standards and driving best practices.
