About the role

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a small, autonomous team that builds and maintains a high‑throughput betting platform for horse racing. You will work on complex, real‑time systems that handle large volumes of events and transactions.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop, and enhance critical components of the betting platform.
Implement and optimise real‑time processing of events and transactions.
Collaborate with team members to identify and apply the best technical solutions.
Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
Ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability across distributed services.

Required profile

At least 8 years of professional software development experience.
Passion for solving challenging problems in high‑load environments.
Ability to work in a fast‑moving team with minimal bureaucracy.
Strong communication skills and willingness to share knowledge.

Required skills

JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, HTML, CSS, UI libraries.
Node.js.NET, C#.
REST APIs, GraphQL.
Micro‑frontend architecture, Redux (or similar state management).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity, Octopus, ArgoCD, GitLab CI).
Docker, Kubernetes.
Databases: PostgreSQL, Oracle, Elasticsearch.
Messaging and caching: Solace, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, Redis Streams, Couchbase.
Logging and monitoring: Splunk, ELK stack.
