Senior Racunovodja - Accountant

About the role

NDP Audit & Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its team in Belgrade. You will be responsible for comprehensive bookkeeping, tax compliance, and financial reporting for a portfolio of corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Record and verify financial documents, including invoices, amortization, allocations, and reserves.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns, internal calculations, proportional VAT deductions, and other tax filings.
• Communicate with banks and clients to execute transfers and explain accounting procedures.
• Produce monthly and quarterly reports for authorities and special reports for clients.
• Draft financial statements and tax balances, and support colleagues with daily accounting queries.

Required profile

• Solid knowledge of Serbian accounting standards and relevant legislation.
• Ability to manage complete client portfolios independently.
• Analytical mindset, precision, strong communication, and professional attitude.

Required skills

• Experience with accounting software such as Calculus, MPP, or Pantheon (preferred).
• Proficiency in handling VAT, financial statements, and tax reporting.
