Senior Software QA Engineer

About the role

STRADE, a fast‑growing aviation component services provider, is looking for a Senior Software QA Engineer to ensure the quality of its digital marketplace. You will bridge the gap between software delivery and production, working closely with stakeholders to drive product excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to define testing requirements, objectives and user expectations.
• Partner with Tech Leads during design to embed testability, observability and resilience.
• Design, document and execute manual and automated test cases, expanding coverage for new and existing features.
• Maintain and evolve regression and feature test suites as customer needs change.
• Own the automation architecture, tooling choices and mentor QA and software engineers on best practices.
• Introduce AI‑supported quality tools and contribute to CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable feedback.
• Define and execute performance, load and accessibility tests to set industry‑standard quality.
• Specify test environment and data management requirements, ensuring integration with third‑party systems.
• Identify, assess and prioritize risks, continuously improving testing processes and methodologies.

Required profile

• Degree (FH, BSc, MSc) in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 5+ years of software testing experience, preferably with both manual and automated testing.
• Continuing education in testing (ISTQB, ISEB or equivalent) is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to mentor others.
