Senior Staff Software Engineer (GPU & AI/ML)

About the role

AMD is powering the next generation of supercomputing, high‑performance computing, cloud and AI. We are seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to develop innovative AI software solutions for AMD’s GPU and Ryzen product families, working across Windows and Linux environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver cutting‑edge AI software solutions to AMD customers and users.
• Enable and optimise the software stack for standard frameworks such as ONNX and PyTorch, as well as emerging open‑source AI tools.
• Bring up state‑of‑the‑art AI models, analyse their performance and implement improvements.
• Drive end‑to‑end AI software development from feature scoping, implementation and integration to verification and customer enablement.

Required profile

• Strong technical and analytical skills in C/C++ and Python for AI development on Windows and Linux.
• Knowledge of GPU or NPU acceleration and experience with AI/ML workloads.
• Proven problem‑solving ability and capacity to lead technical initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for AI technologies.
