Senior/Staff Software Engineer – Cloud Platform

About the role

Altium is building a cloud‑native platform that transforms electronics design. As a Senior/Staff Software Engineer you will help create and evolve the Altium 365 cloud services that enable engineers to collaborate, search and bring products to market faster.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop new cloud‑native applications and scalable infrastructure for the Altium 365 platform.
• Implement AI/ML‑driven search capabilities and large‑scale data processing pipelines.
• Model data, design intent‑based APIs and work with both stateful and stateless services.
• Maintain relational databases, ORM frameworks and ensure high performance of distributed systems.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional .NET development experience.
• Deep expertise in identity/authentication, access or license management, message queues, distributed caches and ElasticSearch/OpenSearch.
• Proven track record building and operating high‑load, distributed systems with performance profiling and load testing.
• Ability to influence architecture across multiple teams and define engineering standards.
