Service Desk Associate - German speaker

About the role

The Service Desk Associate will provide first‑line technical support for ATM and banking software solutions, acting as the primary point of contact for German‑speaking users. Based in Belgrade with a hybrid work model, the role combines incident handling, communication, and reporting to ensure smooth operations for financial customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support ATM database and related software for banking clients.
• Identify, log, categorize, prioritize, diagnose, and resolve incidents in accordance with ITIL‑based processes.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams and ensure timely closure.
• Maintain clear communication with users throughout the incident lifecycle.
• Collaborate with change, problem, configuration, and service‑level management processes.
• Generate ad‑hoc reports for supervisors or clients as required.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent four‑year university education.
• Fluent written and spoken German and English.
• Previous experience in customer service, preferably within ATM operations, retail banking or related financial services.
• Strong oral and written communication, active listening, and coordination abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good understanding of telecommunications, networking and general IT solutions.
