Site Activation Manager – Europe/US (Remote)

About the role

Worldwide Clinical Trials is seeking a Site Activation Manager to lead site activation and start‑up activities for oncology studies across Europe and the United States. This remote position reports to senior Site Activation leadership and may also support pre‑award proposal work.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary accountable point for site activation and start‑up on assigned oncology studies.
• Coordinate cross‑functional activities to meet activation milestones on time and within budget.
• Track, analyse, and report site activation progress and key metrics.
• Partner with project teams on feasibility, site qualification, selection, and regulatory submissions.
• Communicate status, risks, and mitigation plans to sponsors and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed site activation project plans, manage change control, and ensure compliance with GCP, SOPs, and local regulations.
• Identify continuous‑improvement opportunities and contribute to SOP and best‑practice development.

Required profile

• Experience managing site activation projects within the oncology therapeutic area.
• Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory requirements for site start‑up.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting to sponsors and internal leadership.

Required skills

• Knowledge of GCP and CRO SOPs.
• Project‑management and risk‑assessment capabilities.
• Familiarity with site qualification, regulatory documentation, and contract monitoring.
