Tax Manager – Advisory & Compliance

About the role

Deloitte is looking for a dynamic Tax Manager to join its Belgrade office. You will lead tax compliance and advisory projects for large local and international clients, covering corporate income tax, VAT, transfer pricing and M&A due‑diligence. Key responsibilities

• Lead tax compliance, advisory and tax due‑diligence engagements.
• Prepare first‑draft and final deliverables, including memos, calculations and client communications.
• Conduct tax research, issue expert opinions and provide strategic advice.
• Maintain direct client relationships and ensure high‑quality service delivery.
• Oversee project administration and coordinate with internal teams.
• Mentor and coach interns, junior and senior consultants, and deliver training sessions.
• Contribute to business development and marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics or Law.
• 5+ years of experience in tax consulting or a corporate tax function.
• Strong knowledge of corporate income tax, VAT and transfer pricing; indirect tax expertise is a plus.
• Fluent in Serbian and English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to prioritize workload.
• Leadership qualities and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
