Tax Senior Consultant

About the role

Deloitte is looking for a dynamic tax professional to join its Belgrade office. As a Tax Senior Consultant you will work on a variety of advisory and compliance projects, supporting large local and international companies with corporate income tax, VAT, transfer pricing and M&A matters.

Key responsibilities

• Handle client communication and coordinate the collection of documentation for tax compliance, advisory projects and tax due diligence.
• Conduct tax research, issue expert opinions and provide advice to clients.
• Prepare first‑draft deliverables such as emails, memos and calculations.
• Assist in finalising deliverables, processing comments and implementing changes.
• Support project administration, including drafting proposals and engagement letters.
• Lead and coach junior consultants and interns, maintaining client relationships and becoming the main point of contact.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in Economics or Law.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting or tax.
• Strong grasp of accounting and financial reporting is an advantage.
• Fluent in Serbian and English, both spoken and written.
• Efficient, well‑organized and able to prioritise work.
• Attention to detail, initiative in proposing solutions and leadership skills.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word.
