Vice President of Quality Assurance

About the role

Allucent is seeking a Vice President of Quality Assurance to lead the strategic vision, operations, and financial health of its Quality organization. You will oversee audit preparation, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction across clinical trial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the business strategy for the Quality department, including operating procedures and processes.
• Lead executive and senior management meetings, represent Quality in Board and Monthly Business Review sessions.
• Review audit reports (process, project, vendor) and support regulatory authority inspections.
• Monitor client satisfaction, maintain key account relationships, and drive new business opportunities.
• Report strategy, planning, results and performance to internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Life‑science, healthcare or business degree with at least 15 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 12 years in drug development or clinical research.
• Strong analytical, decision‑making and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Proven leadership, presentation, networking and financial management skills.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of ICH‑GCP (R3) guidelines.
• Experience with GDPR, FDA regulations and international quality management systems (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11).
• Auditing expertise and familiarity with process‑oriented quality metrics.
